Vigo di Fassa
Located in a high and sunny position that dominates the rest of the valley, Vigo was during the reign of the Longobards the administrative and religious headquarter of the Val di Fassa.
Thanks to a modern cable car it is possibile to reach the Ciampedie valley (2.000 m) directly from the town, arriving on a spectacular natural terrace where to admire the Dolomites. The Ciampedie in summer is the ideal point of departure for hiking and climbing in the Catinaccio group, in winter it is the heart of the Catinaccio Ski Area, offering a great variety of slopes perfectly covered with snow. The Ciampedie is a paradise for children that can have fun in the open air and in all safety at the "Baby Park" play ground.

Falzes (Pfalzen)
Falzes, a pleasant hamlet lying in the Val Pusteria (Bolzano), stands at the entrance of the Val di Tures and is well known since the Roman era for its sunny exposure. Culture and tradition are a part of its rich patrimony but the essential resource is related to handicraft and “slow” tourism. Quiet promenades, from spring to late fall along farmstead, small lakes, waterfalls and basins are a true enjoyment. And all this landscape is only five kilometers far from Brunico and from the Kronplatz-Plan de Corones holiday resorts, one of the largest skiing facilities complex in the Upper Adige.
